English School (late 19th century), A young boy feeding chickens, oil on canvas, unsigned, reproduction 19th century style frame 15½ x 11½in. (39.4 x 29.2cm.).
*Condition: Not relined but has been restored - scattered retouches visible under UV across the canvas, including old craquelure lines, and other larger areas of repainting to the dog, boy's hair, shadow to the right of the stump and floor, which has discoloured and would now benefit from further attention. Repaired horizontal split to canvas to top centre.
