A GEORGE III SILVER SWING-HANDLED SWEETMEAT BASKET. shaped oval outline, with pierced sides, embossed decoration and the corded border with alternative flowers & shells, by Edward Aldridge, London 1767, together with an Edwardian silver swing-handled sugar basket (lacking its glass liner), with wirework sides and applied adornment, by William Comyns & Sons, London 1907; the former 6.1" (15.5cm) long; 9.4ozt (2).
Both with wear & minor bending, the sweetmeat more so with a couple of splits to the piecing.
