(FIREARM CERTIFICATE REQUIRED TO PURCHASE THIS LOT) A WINCHESTER .22'' SHORT MODEL 74 SEMI AUTOMATIC RIFLE, serial number 48580, this tubular feed rifle was screw cut for a silencer and has a mount on the top of the receiver to enable an optical sight to be fitted, this specimen has a hole drilled through the centre of the stocks to enable it to be fitted with a row lock design mount to allow it to be attached to a bipod, these were made between 1938 and 1955 and some were issued to British Auxiliary Units during WWII, it is believed to be in working order (A SECTION 1 FIREARM FOR WHICH THE PURCHASER MUST BE THE HOLDER OF CURRENT RFD OR A FIREARMS CERTIFICATE BEARING AN APPROPRIATE AUTHORITY)
