A Meissen porcelain group of lovers, c.1740, seated on a flower encrusted rockwork base, crossed swords mark worn away on the unglazed base, 13cm high, restored leg
Provenance - purchased from Winifred Williams, Eastbourne/London before 1970.
The female figure has a restored front left leg and foot the restoration now heavily crazed. Possibly slight restoration to the left side of the group below the drapery. There is some slight wear to the enamelling on the drapery at the back of the figure, otherwise in good condition. Slight grubbiness in areas.
