Grant Nicholas of Feeder’s Gretsh guitar - A rare Gretsch Spectra Sonic Baritone guitar used by Grant Nicholas on the ‘Renegades’ album by Feeder. The guitar comes with the original hard case and a certificate. Grant says “Here is my Gretsch Spectra Sonic Baritone guitar I got from Fender some years back. Gretsch was connected with Fender so that’s how I was able to source one. As you know I’m well known for playing a Fender Jazzmaster, but I liked the look and sound of the Gretsch Spectra Sonic and wanted something unusual. I have used it a bit for recording over the years and it’s quite an interesting guitar, somewhere between a bass and electric guitar with a nice round bottom end and punch. It comes loaded with TV Jones pickups. It was used on some of the Feeder ‘Renegades’ album and also on some bonus tracks. I hope it goes to a good home and I will miss it. There were not that many made if I remember correctly. Enjoy and hope it raises some money for a such a worthy cause.” The Winner will liaise with Avanti Media and be put in contact with Grant Nicholson's management team after the auction ends and they can choose if they would like the guitar signed by Grant.
