WW1 Imperial German Ersatz M88/98 Knife Bayonet. A good example of the all steel bayonet. Single edged blade, the pressed steel hilt with 3/4 muzzle ring. Housed in original steel scabbard fitted with black leather frog. Retaining original bayonet knot. The scabbard retaining most of the original green painted finish, with traces to the hilt.
