A nameplate, KENILWORTH, from a BR Class 87 electric locomotive No 87 032 built by BREL Crewe in July 1974 for the West Coast Main Line and named in May 1978 after one of Sir Walter Scott's Waverley novels. Withdrawn in June 2005, it was cut up by European Metals Reprocessing at Kingsbury in November 2011. Cast aluminium, length 45½", in ex loco condition.
