Diamond solitaire ring, the round brilliant cut diamond of approx. 1ct, colour estimated as J or K, clarity as SI1/2, in a platinum claw mount on a split shank and platinum ring, size M, gross weight approx. 1.8g

The diamond appears to be in good condition, however the condition of the girdle beneath the claws cannot be assessed. One of the claws is worn flat, another has worn off completely. There is a crack to the shank adjacent to the completely worn claw. There is ring abrasion to the lower part of the claw mounts on either side of the ring. The ring is misshapen and worn at the bottom edge. The marks are clear. The whole would benefit from repair and repolishing.
