Worcester china inkstand, circa 1852-62, decorated throughout with indigenous butterflies, the stand supporting two lidded inkwells centred with a taper stick, 23.5cm

Crazing and slight discolouration to the base, largely around the indents to the receptacles. Some fine surface scratches. There is some ink staining. Some small paint flakes evident on the ink pot as well as staining on the inside. One of the ink pots has a hair crack approx. 15mm. There is staining and gilt wear. The pricket stick has wear to the gilt around the top. There is slight rubbing to the gilt lines.
No further damage detected.
