Victorian Officers Blue and Gilt Levee Sword.

Made by the cutler Robert Mole of Birmingham.  Straight, 80 cm, double edged blade, 1/2 length blue and gilt decoration. This depicting a crowned VR cypher, Royal Coat of Arms and the cutlers details to the forte, this complimented by an Inspection stamp of Crown B 3. The hilt with a fire gilt, three bar open guard, incorporating a Royal Crest, this crest also engraved to the top mount of the scabbard. Full shagreen grip surmounted by a gilt crown. Accompanied by original black leather and gilt mounted scabbard with frog hook. Overall GC gilt bright.
