Samarai. 1879 (Dec 1) Cover to Cooktown bearing four 1897 1d vermilion stamps (pair + two singles) cancelled by two "B.N.G" nine bar obliterators, partial "SAMARAI / B.N.G" c.d.s below, backstamped in Cooktown. Small stain to address panel and repair at right edge, faults to flap, good appearance and a scarce cover from this office. Photo on Page 196.
