A CHINESE DOUCAI PORCELAIN BOWL, LATE 18TH CENTURY. With straight sides leading into a slightly flared rim decorated with a flowering tree. Six-character mark of Qianlong to base in underglaze blue, probably of the period. 19cm diam.

One 3.5cm chip repair to rim next to a 5cm vertical hairline at the rim with two minor nicks at the rim. Minor nicks around the foot rim to note.
