The back panel carved with a central rosette within a strapwork frame and cable-carved lozenge surround, geometric-carved spandrels, the whole within a pellet-carved moulding, the overhanging top rail nulled-carved and with dental-carved upper edge, the uprights above the arms again nulled-carved and flanked by scroll and floral-carved ears, the lower back rail again pellet-carved below a 'domino'-style punched-decorated run-moulding, the downswept and scroll-over arms on parallel-baluster over reel-turned front supports, the seat formed mainly from one single board, bicuspid-shaped seat rails, conforming turned front legs, joined all round by stretchers with lower edge moulding, 62.5cm wide, 111.5cm high, 40.5cm deep, seat height 51.5cm
