Duverdry and Bloquel a late-Victorian brass carriage clock the eight-day duration movement having a later platform lever escapement and striking the hours and half-hours on a gong, the backplate numbered 2425 and stamped with the hand-setting arrow as used by Duverdry and Bloquel of the horological town Saint-Nicolas-d'Aliermont in northern France, the Corniche case with matching handle, height 16.5cm/13.5 cm handle up/down.
