AN EARLY 19TH CENTURY BLUNDERBUSS MARKED FOR UTTING OF LONDON. A blunderbuss with 39 cm brass barrel, flattened oval at the muzzle, marked to the top in script Chiswell Street, Finsbury Square, London. With various proof marks, ram rod below and sprung bayonet above. The flintlock firing action with roller bearing and sliding safety, engraved 'Utting'. The walnut stock with deep diamond cut grip and brass butt plate. 109 cm with bayonet extended. 79 cm.
