A Louis XIV style carved giltwood wall mirror, with putto mask, fruit and foliate scroll crest, tapered bevelled marginal plate and scroll bordered frame, W.3ft 1in. H.5ft 1in.
CONDITION: This mirror looks to date to the early 20th century and remains overall in good condition, gilding is bright, only real faults noted are very slight separation at the corners of the main frame particularly at the top and one or two small breaks and losses to the leaves and scrolls, principally one near the top left where a fruit cluster occurs which is broken away but is still held in place by its wire, some light oxidisation to the mirrors.
