Approximately 800 standard-size postcards and postcard-size photos – including about 65 of Littlehampton, but nearly all of Portsmouth and Southsea, although there are one or two of other locations nearby including Fareham and Havant. 120 of what we consider to be some of the strongest and most sought-after postcards are featured in our six photos, including street scenes. In the other cards, Southsea seafront feature strongly and there are a number relating to HMS Victory. This lot includes Pamlins prints, some plain-backed cards and also postcard size photos. There are also some repeats. Many of the cards are in good or better condition – but some have faults such as creases (both large and small), small tears and edge knocks etc.
