A 19TH CENTURY PRUSSIAN SHORT SWORD AND SCABBARD. A Prussian short sword similar to the French 1831 Pattern with a 64.5cm straight pointed blade with broad fuller, the ricasso numbered 105 snf with makers marks, and a mark suggesting a date of 1889, on a brass handle with the straight cross piece with diamond shaped ends, tapering ringed grip and oval pommel, 78cm. In a brass mounted black leather scabbard. 80.5cm overall *Condition: Good uncleaned condition, degradation to leather scabbard and wear to grip.
