£130
Victorian brass skeleton clock with silvered chapter ring with black Roman numerals, on a rosewood base, 30cm
There appears to be some warping of the base, causing the clock to sit unevenly on its feet and rock back and forth as it ticks. When propped steady, the clock appeared to run correctly for an observed period of ten minutes.
As clocks, watches and scientific instruments contain many complex parts we would therefore not make any representations as to their workings and ultimately all lots are ‘sold as seen’. It is always advised that these be taken for a general service as further repair works may be necessary. This would be the sole responsibility of the bidder.
