D'ANGLETERRE" MARK ON OFFICIAL COVER EX ROUEN TO DOUAI; Very fine 25 July 1798 EL (small piece cut from heading of contents affecting printed heading) from "ETAT MAJOR GENERAL" in "Rouen" to an official in "Douay" with a mainly very fine rare "PORT-PAYE/[A]RM. D'ANGLETERRE" mark on the front along with mainly fine oval "ARMEE D'ANGLETERRE/ETAT/MAJOR/ GENERAL/REPUBLIQUE/FRANCAISE" cachet and similar oval cachet across the seal on the reverse.
