4th Middlesex Rifle Volunteers Victorian Officer cap badge. Good scarce die-stamped silvered crowned Maltese cross, circlet inscribed 4TH MIDDX RV with strung bugle to voided centre. Loops. Tarnished, VGC Raised in 1859, retained its numeral through the 1880 changes and became 13th Bn. London Regt. (Kensington) in 1908.
