A late 19th Century American double ended peapod Canoe or Skiff, with latted interior and centre crossbar, painted green, named on side 'Alfreda' approx. 360cms long x 91cms wide at centre (11'10" x 3') with looped ends. (1)

Provenance:   Lady Yarrow (nee Eleanor Barnes) wife of Alfred Yarrow, of Yarrow Shipping. She was presented at Court, c. 1890, and by descent to the present owner.
