Jean Jules Salmson (French, 1825-1902) A pair of bronze historical figures. 19th century, cast as 17th century Renaisance gentleman, both wearing wide brimmed hats, capes, and breeches, one holding a volume in one hand, his sword hilt in the other, the other holding a volume in one hand, a cane in the other hand, both on circular naturalistic bases signed within the casts Salmson, height 30.5cm (2).
