A 19th Century oak and mahogany crossbanded longcase clock by J B Brindley Newcastle under Lyme, eight day striking movement with seconds subsidiary dial and date aperture, the arched dial painted with rural scenes and a lake beneath a windmill, enclosed by a glazed pillar hood and broken swan neck pediment over a long trunk door flanked by canted stiles and brass capitals on a canted plinth base, height 224cm.
Casework generally good, some re-touching to the dial but not noticeable, plinth has a crack running through and some loss to paterae.
