A late 18c eight day longcase clock, the 30cm arched painted dial having Roman numerals and seconds and date dials but no name or other decoration to the dial. The hands are of matched pattern steel and the movement has brass bound weights and a brass pendulum rod. Its oak case has an arched hood with a cresting above and three giltwood finials. The hood door has fluted columns attached to it and the long trunk door has an arched top. The plain base has a skirting with a wavy cut out to the bottom edge. The clock stands 216cm tall overall.
Restored and going condition. Left hand side hood glass missing.
