1.5cm split to top left edge of spine, and further open 1cm split to bottom right edge. Top and bottom edges of spine pulled slightly away from binding. Wear down left and right hand edges of spine. Title label chipped and creased. All front corners bumped and worn through leather. Front and back boards scuffed. Shelf wear to bottom edges. All gilt scuffed. Splits to front and rear endpapers. Foxing to endpapers. Staining to title and half title pages. Darkening and some foxing to text pages. Some discolouration to front and back of plate pages. Binding slightly loose (particularly at front and back of book).
