A Japanese Satsuma porcelain part tea service, early 20th century, comprising a teapot, cream jug, twin handled sucrier, slop bowl, two cake plates, twelve side plates, ten cups and eleven saucers, with scalloped rims, the tea pot, cream jug and sucrier with scalloped feet, foliate handles and domed covers with floral finials, all painted with three reserves with elegant ladies in a garden, a kingfisher amidst flowers and reeds and a nobleman and attendant in an interior, iron red three or six character marks, several pieces with printed paper labels to base,the teapot 7½in. * Condition: Most pieces in good condition, with minor gilt wear. Two cups are cracked and one side plate has a hairline crack to rim. One saucer has a tiny chip to the edge of the base.
