An early Victorian pewter baluster quart measure, inscribed to the underside 'Rodney's Head, Whitechapel Road' (London). Note: The Rodney's Head operated as a public house from 1806 to 1853, after which it became a music hall called (New) Prince's Hall of Varieties, the proprietor Robert Elliot.
