Victoria (1837-1901), Halfcrown, 1842, type A4, young head left with two plain fillets in hair, omitting W.W. on truncation, date below, legend surrounds VICTORIA DEI GRATIA. Rev, crowned quartered shield of arms within wreath, emblems below, reads BRITANNIARUM REGINA FID DEF (S.3888; ESC.675; Bull. 2717). Grey streaky tone with subtle bursts of underlying bloom, few surface marks with a proficient portrait. About extremely fine.
