WW1 BWM and Victory Medal to 315 Pte G.A. Hutchings 2-M.G. Bn A.I.F. good very fine. George Alfred Hutchings was killed in action on 17th July 1918 and with no known grave is commemorated on the Villers-Bretonneux Memorial. This appears strange as his service papers show he was re-buried in Adelaide British Cemetery under the authority of Director of Graves and the entry is dated 30/6/19. With 4 copied pages of service record and CWGC, he was born in London, served 12 years with Royal Marine Artillery, enlisted 28/7/16, went overseas 31/1/17, wounded in action with 22nd Coy 7/5/17.
