Frederick E. Valter (1850-1930) - Highland Sheep. Watercolour and gouache on paper, sight 41.7cm by 59.5cm, framed and glazed (53cm by 70 cm). The artist and brother of Henry Valter were born in Birmingham. Frederick exhibited between 1882 and 1921 at the Walker Art Gallery, Liverpool, and the Royal Scottish Academy, amongst others.
