Note: 
'L'Assiette au Beurre' was a French satirical magazine which was chiefly produced between 1901 and 1912, and which featured illustrations from a range of artists including Jean-Louis Forain (1852-1931), Juan Gris (1887-1927), and Kees van Dongen (1877-1968).
