A FIRST AND SECOND WORLD WAR GROUP OF TEN TO A SURVIVOR AT JUTLAND. A group of ten comprising 1914-15 Star named to J20964 F. Sealey A.B. R.N. War Medal and Victory Medal similarly named, a George V Royal Fleet Reserve Long Service and Good Conduct Medal name to J20964 (DEV B13629) F. Sealey A.B. R.F.R. Second World War Medals comprising 1939-45, Atlantic, Africa (North Africa 1942-43 Clasp) and Italy Stars and War Medal, all un-named as issued. And an Elizabeth II Imperial Service Medal named to Francis Sealey, in Royal Mint case of issue. Mounted as worn with ribbons. Francis Sealey, a farm labourer from Taunton was born on the 3rd November 1896. He is recorded with the Royal Navy as a 'Boy 2' from the 12th Oct 1912, later enlisting at Devonport for 12 years in November 1914. He served aboard a number of ships including Alax, Vivid and Hood. It seems he rejoined for the period of the Second World War in 1939. He died on the 5th May 1971 at the age of 74. With copied research and photograph possibly showing Sealey as a boy sailor.
