The surname on the medal edge may have been altered, also WWI trio of medals awarded to PTE G H BURBEARY YORKS L I. All medals are presented on a single medal bar but in view of different initials, surname spellings and possible alteration there is no guarantee that all medals relate to the same soldier. Some research papers are included.
