A 16 bore (.65") East India Company flintlock cavalry pistol c 1820, barrel 9" with London proofs, EIC inspector's marks and arsenal marks on left side, the lock bearing EIC rampant lion and crown over "3" inspector's mark, walnut fullstock with brass mounts, lanyard ring on butt cap, and swivel ramrod. GWO & C, (the jaw screw broken in two but both parts present, the lower part stuck in the cock). £500-550
