A Japanese black lacquered and gilded circular rice box and cover, with gilt-metal mounts, diameter 36cm, height 36cm, together with its stained elm travelling box, box height 44cm
Generally good condition, some visible surface chips, scratches and marks/ ware. There is a visible crack running around the inside of the body ( result of construction?)
