Railway. G.W.R./BR Steam, Overseas Traction, Industrial and Infrastructure. A superb collection of commercial black and white prints. The prints have been collected over many years and are housed in a vintage steel filing cabinet, with 9 steel drawers. We will be selling off the contents of each drawer over the next couple of auctions and then the empty filing cabinet will be sold. The last drawer (not included) contains approx. 2000+, black and white, postcard size prints from various sources, including: L. Hanson, Locofotos, Photomatic,, Frank Hornby, A.R. Goult etc. Some of the sections have a typed card with details of loco number, build date and withdrawal date, there may be more than 1 photo of each loco number and there are some gaps in the collection waiting to be filled!. Sections include: Ex GWR tanks/smaller tender locos (approx. half the collection), Overseas Traction including: India, Sweden, Italy, France, Belgium, Denmark, Switzerland and many others. Plus a section of industrial steam and diesels and a section on railway company warning signs. Rare opportunity to obtain a very comprehensive collection! Most/all of the prints are captioned.
