Asprey & Co., London leather vanity box containing eight blue guilloche enamelled silver topped bottles
The case has scuffs, the worst being on the top and the front surfaces. There are two working keys (which are rusty). The lock works. The taffeta type interior fabric is discoloured in places, particularly back right corner.
The glass of all the bottles is in good order, two have the remnants of cosmetic contents and require cleaning.
The four rectangular bottles all have rubbed hallmarks, and three of these lids each have a minor dent and the fourth has some damage to the guilloche enamel. One has its stopper missing.
All the silver is tarnished.
The lids of the four jars are all in good order with no damage to the enamel and all bar one have crisp hallmarks, with just the one being slightly rubbed.
Bottle heights 9.5cms, small jar 3.5cms, mid size jar 4cms, large jar 4.5cms. Total cap weight including enamel 136 grams, total weight including glass 757 grams bottles are screw top and jars are pull off.
