2nd East Kent Regiment British 1856 Pattern Pioneer's Sword


22 1/2 inch, single edged blade with back edge sharpened point.  Rear sawback edge.  Forte marked "Wilkinson. London" dated 8/95.  Various Ordnance stamps.  Brass stirrup knuckle bow with downturn quillon.  Top of quillon stamped "2.E.K".  Ribbed brass slab grips secured by four steel rivets.  Contained in its brass mounted leather scabbard.  Throat stamped "11/95. M.3. RH. 5".  Slight split to leather seam.
