Royal Navy WW1 / WW2 Officer’s Group of 7 Medals.

Awarded to Lieutenant Commander Arthur Baker Gunnery Officer. Comprising: 1914/15 Star, “J.3771 A BAKER LS RN”, British War Medal, Victory Medal, “GNR A BAKER RN”, 1939/45 Star, Atlantic Star, Defence Medal, War Medal. Group now mounted for display.

Lieutenant Commander Arthur Baker was commissioned from the ranks in July 1918 and remained with the Royal Navy after the Great War. He retired with the rank of Lieutenant 1933 and was recalled at the outbreak of war in 1939. He served until 1945 and retired with the rank of Lt Cdr.
