REPRODUCTION WW1 Imperial German Nahkampfmesser Trench Knife. Single edged blade 157mm in length. Maker marked for "Gottlieb Hammesfahr, Solingen Fochs" along with inspection mark.. Leather washer to blade. Wooden grips with slanted grooves. Overall length 277mm. Complete with scabbard with plated finish, leather belt hanger with retaining loop with press stud closesure.
Very good condition, blade has no rust or pitting. Leather is in very good condition. Press stud works.
