AN EARLY 18TH CENTURY CONTINENTAL MAHOGANY BRACKET CLOCK the 5 3/4" square brass dial with mask head spandrels and signed chapter ring having Roman numerals and outer minute markers enclosing an engraved centre with wheatear border and outset winding holes.The fusee wound movement striking the hours on a bell, fitted with verge escapement. The case with inverted bell top and folding carrying handle, fitted with brass finials and small bun feet (32cm high handle down)
