TREEN INTEREST - EARLY KNITTING SHEATH. Probably early 19thc, of curved shape with chip carved decoration, inset with a small hand written panel with glass cover (difficult to read but with four initials and probably given as a love token). 19.5cms long.
The narrow end possiby has a small sliver of wood missing (although it could be made like this), some small bits around the edges missing.
