A VIOLIN WITH FITTED WOODEN CASE, a late 19th century violin, possibly French, stamped 'A.S'. Below the button, mother-of-pearl floral decoration inlay on ebonised tail piece, the one-piece back 35cm long, an Aubert bridge, spare bridge in case and metal mute, in a wooden travel case with navy blue velvet lining; together with two bows, both unnamed, and a hand written valuation dated 1993, IMPORTANT NOTE, This lot contains elephant ivory material. Please be advised that several countries, including those in the EU and the USA, now prohibit the importation of ivory items unless under specific conditions.
