A worksplate, HAWTHORN LESLIE & Co, 3704, 1929 from a LNER N2 Class 0-6-2T No 2675 which was renumbered 9581 in 1946 becoming BR 69581. A Kings Cross engine from 1935 onwards, it was withdrawn from there in December 1960 and cut up at Doncaster Works. Cast brass, 10¼"x6", ex loco condition. (Postage Band: B)
