1900 (Apr 20) Registered cover to England bearing Bechuanaland Protectorate 2d (2) + 4d paying the 8d rate, each cancelled by "CROCODILE POOLS / SOUTH AFRICA" c.d.s (used at the Base Camp Post Office at Gaberones) with a further strike below, red Registered datestamps of Bulawayo and London (May 25). Edge faults and the front and reverse glued together, nevertheless a very scarce use of the Crocodile Pools c.d.s on a registered cover. Photo on Page 80.
