A HANDSOME PAIR OF FINELY MADE CHIPPENDALE STYLE CARVER ARMCHAIRS, each with a shaped crest rail having carved leaf detail draped over the corners & a central pierced splat back with further floral and foliage details, the scroll shaped armrests end with carved acanthus leaf and are raised up by reeded uprights. The leather insert seats have a lovely vintage patina to them, all raised on cabriole legs with claw on ball feet. A lovely comfortable pair of chairs in excellent condition.
