Roy Nockolds - Artist - (1911-1979) :- The personal Paint Box of famous pioneer Motoring Artist Roy Nockolds , the wooden Carrying Case styled Paint Box by Daler Board and Company of Wareham, Dorset, and stamped Roy Nockolds to the front.
Born in London in 1911, Roy Nockolds was a self-taught artist, and he began his work in the 1920s. He was an illustrator for Autocar, Motor, and Motor Sport Magazines. A highly-versatile artist, Roy Nockolds also worked on aircraft paintings, landscapes, portraits, and dog paintings.
