1882 Egypt Medal (Un-dated) 2 clasps The Nile 1884-85, Abu Klea and 1884-6 Khedive's Star to 2333 L/Corpl S. Parker 5th Lancers (Star un-named as issued), very small edge bruise under number, otherwise extremely fine. LCpl Parker was killed in action at Abu Klea on 17th January 1885, with the regiment losing 1 officer and 5 men killed and 1 man died of wounds. Only 2 officers and 33 men from the regiment served at Abu Klea with the amalgamated Heavy Cavalry Regiment. With copied roll confirming clasps and killed in action. (See photo) (R)
