An 18th century (possibly Irish) snuff box incorporating a finely carved nut with inscription 'In the Name of God and St Patrick' within a fox and hounds scene, with silver coloured mounts top and bottom, approx 6 by 4cms.

More Information

The nut has a chip next to the lower silver mount which is loose, the nut carving has polish residue showing (white), the top silver mount is loose on the nut and swivels round, otherwise it is in good overall condition.
